The Resort

"Carving paradise out of the dessert", was the developer's aim when El Gouna was first conceived. Today, some 20 years later, this sophisticated beach resort, of islands and interlocked lagoons, is popular for it's wealth of watersports as well as its dining and evening entertainment.

Did you know?

El Gouna has been recognised officially as Egypt's most environmentally-friendly holiday destination by Green Globe International, a non-profit organisation that promotes environmentally and socially responsible tourism.
